8 days multi-active tour

Route: Issyk Kul valley, Chu valley
Conditions: program is suitable for active people with good state of health, able to withstand the altitude of 4500 meters above the sea level.

Multi-active tours will allow you to combine several activities in one tour.
The eight-day tour offers visiting Chui and Issyk Kul regions, such attractions as: the historical and architectural complex “Burana Tower” (10-11c), the pearl of Kyrgyzstan - Issyk Kul Lake, the sacred place “Tamga Tash”. The stone with Buddhist inscriptions on it. Also ti visit the famous Djety Oguz valley including “Broken Heart” and “Seven Bulls” rocks, the panoramic view to the Oguz Bashi mount and Ala Archa National Park near Bishkek city.
During the tour, you can combine many activities like hiking, horseback riding, try rafting on the Chu River, climb the Uchitel peak (4527m) in Ala Archa National Park, or take a walk up the Ak Sai Glacier to the Korona refuge, which offers stunning views of the entire Ak Sai glacier and Peaks. 

 

Day 1
Airport – Bishkek – Tamga (340km)
Meeting at the airport, transfer to Issyk-Kul lake to “Tamga” guest house. On the way excursion to Burana tower and “Fairy tale” place (valley of red sandstone cliffs). Overnight in guest house. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Bishkek – 700m, Tamga – 1685m

Day 2
Tamga
Radial horseback trip to “Tamga-Tash" stone in Tamga gorge. Historical monument with ancient Tibetan inscriptions. After ride, having rest on the shore of the lake. Accommodation in guest house. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Tamga – 1685m, Tamga Tash – 2000m 

Day 3
Tamga – Djety Oguz – Tamga (190km)
Transfer to Djety Oguz gorge. Excursion to famous “Broken Heart” and "Seven Bulls" cliffs. Hike to the waterfall and to the upper of the gorge. Driving back to Tamga. (BLD)

Day 4
Tamga – Boom gorge – Bishkek (320km)
Transfer to Boom gorge. Optionally: rafting on the Chu river (2-2,5h). After rafting transfer to Bishkek. Accommodation in guest house. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Tamga – 1685m, Bishkek – 700m
 
Day 5
Bishkek – National park Ala Archa (45km) – Ak Sai glacier
Transfer to national park in Ala Archa gorge, to mountaineering camp. Trek to Ak Sai glacier (approximately 4 hours). Overnight in tents or in mountain hut Racek. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Bishkek – 700m, Ala Archa camp – 2200m, overnight point – 3200m
 
Day 6
Ak Sai glacier
Easy ascent to Uchitel peak (3-4 hours for ascent) or hike to another hut under Korona peak (2-3 hours for ascent). (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Uchitel Peak – 4500m, Korona hut – 3800m, overnight point – 3200m
 
Day 7
Ak Sai glacier – Bishkek
Descent to Ala Archa camp (2 hours). Transfer to Bishkek. Excursion around the city. Festive farewell dinner. Accommodation in guest house/hotel. (BLD)

Day 8
Bishkek – Airport (35 km)
Flight home. (B)
