If you decide to take a horse for this tour you can keep within 2-3 hours.

For longer hiking, you can make a route to the upper reaches of the Tamga gorge. Tamga gorge consists of several smaller gorges, and this allows you to make a one-day walk by starting it from the Tamga settlement to the Tamga-Tash stone. Then ascend the right part of Jolborst to the foot of Ter Peak.

Here you can perfectly walk around the beautiful spruce forest, collect mushrooms or just relax from the hot sun at the shore of Issyk-Kul. Here is you will see the beautiful panoramic view to the Issyk-Kul valley. And then go down along another gorge to the Tamga village.

For lovers of horseback riding this gorge is very convenient because here there are no steep paths.
