Ski tour in Suusamyr and Arslanbob

Suitable time for skitouring program “Skiing in the valley of Suusamyr and Arslanbob village” from February to April, depending on snow conditions.
Ski areas: Suusamyr Valley, Arslanbob village.
Transfer from Bishkek to the Suusamyr ski resort. Accommodation in comfortable cottages. The beginning of the ski tour either from the base, or in the area of the Suusamyr valley for choice. The snow cover in this area lasts about 150 days a year, the thickness reaches 70cm.
Move to the South of the country. On the way skitour at Alabel Pass (3175m) is possible. Accommodation in a guest house in the village of Arslanbob. The beginning of the ski tour either immediately from the guest house crossing the forest, or in the area of Babash Ata Mount, depending on snow conditions.
The Arslanbob is the largest walnut area on the planet. It covers over 600,000 hectares. Up to 1,500 tons of walnuts are harvested every year in the Arslanbob Valley, also 5,000 tons of apples, pistachios, and cherry plums. Arslanbob area is now a forest zone protected by the state.
After the skitour program, transfer to Bishkek by car or by plane.

Day 1
Airport Manas – Bishkek (35 km)
Meeting in airport “Manas” early in the morning. Drive to Bishkek, accommodation in a hotel. After rest, visiting Ala Archa National park (45km from Bishkek) and hiking trip there or making short skitour trip in Kyrgyz range foothills. Return to Bishkek. Short city tour and dinner in restaurant. Overnight in a hotel. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Bishkek – 700 m.

Day 2
Bishkek - Suusamyr (130 km, 2,5-3 hours driving)
Transfer to Suusamyr valley over Too Ashuu pass. Ski tour trip in the area of ski-base.  Accommodation at Too Ashuu ski base. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Too Ashuu ski base – 3000m, Too Ashuu pass (tunnel) – 3400m.

Day 3-4-5
Suusamyr 
Day long trips in Suusamyr region. Accommodation at Too Ashuu ski base. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Too Ashuu ski base – 3000m, skiing area from 2500 to 3700m.

Day 6
Suusamyr – Arslanbob (500km, 8 hours driving)
Transfer to Arslanbob. Accommodation in private guesthouse. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Arslanbob village – 1500-1700m.

Day 7-8
Arslanbob
Day long trips from the village in the forest. Accommodation in private guesthouse. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Arslanbob – 1500-1700m, skiing area from 1700 to 3000m.

Day 9
Arslanbob – Bishkek (630km, 10 hours driving)
Transfer to Bishkek over Alabel and Too Ashuu pass. Accommodation in a hotel. (BLD)
Altitudes during the day (above sea level): Too Ashuu pass – 3582m, Bishkek – 700 m.

Day 10
Bishkek – Airport (30km, 30-40 min driving)
Transfer to airport and take a flight home. (B)
